I believe this place is not run by authentic Thais. Went in for the lunch special which was a good deal that comes with Salad, Soda (which was not offered to me until I've asked because I've checked out the menu before) and an entree which I've order the drunken noodles.
Food wise, salad was average which was expected. The drunken noodles comes with a spring roll and it was hot and surprisingly delicious .
Service wise, really average, never offered the soda when it is included in the lunch special.
I would recommend this place as a good quick lunch spot if you are not fussy.
I have been coming here for a few years now. The food quality has gone down tremendously. There was little flavor with my pad see ewe. My husband got the pad thai and it was also flavorless. The curry puffs were fried in a premade dough and were pretty much like a fried empanada. Very disappointing especially when it was $70!
The Pad See Ew was okay — my husband finished it, so it must’ve been decent — but my Chicken Massaman was watered down beyond belief. Not spicy, way too salty, and the “side” of rice that came with it was laughably small. The spring rolls were just fried dough with nothing inside. For $80, I honestly could’ve made a better version at home for $30. Meh.
This was my first time ordering and all I ordered was the papaya salad so I’m eating it 3 stars bc idk how other things on the menu e are BUT the description of the papaya salad needs to be changed. It is described as an authentic Thai green papaya salad and what I received was the complete opposite of that. It had no green papaya, no string beans and no lime peanut sauce instead was given ripe papaya chunks with what taste like a store bought sweet chili dressing. Idk how they’re getting away with having this on the menu.
I drove 15 minutes craving some Thai food and placed a phone order for Chicken Pad Thai and a Papaya Salad. Unfortunately, the meal didn’t meet my expectations. The salad had large chunks of papaya, and the Pad Thai was quite bland, lacking the rich flavors I was hoping for. Overall, I was disappointed with the taste.
