I’ve been a patient under the care of Valeo for 11+ years. The medical staff led by Dr. Perisami and Dr. Barabash are very knowledgeable about addiction and give you many options on how to conquer these issues. The office staff are very polite and always have time to help with scheduling and any prescription concerns. The addiction self stigma of shame and guilt with low self esteem has been changed with my ongoing monthly treatment.

OUTSTANDING CARE AND COMPASSION AT VALEO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

I've been a patient at Valeo Behavioral Health since 2013 and have had nothing but positive experiences, especially with my psychiatrist, Dr. So - an amazing professional with a wealth of knowledge. He grew up in Korea, immigrated to the United States to complete medical school, and he's been a practicing psychiatrist since before I was born. He brings extensive experience in psychiatric issues as well as a unique and welcome perspective on life as a whole, drawing from his life experience to offer holistic advice beyond just medication.

Though most of my dealings have been with Dr. So, on those occasions when he can't make it in for the day, every other provider I've seen at Valeo has been great as well. Very friendly, able to read my chart and see where I am in treatment, and ensuring that everything is going well.

The front office staff is top-notch, always on top of things, friendly, and personable. Unlike some medical facilities, they remember who you are from visit to visit, which makes you feel comfortable and like you matter. Not just a number.

Their insurance/billing department is also great - when I needed a preauthorization for a medication, they stayed on top of it, and I was approved in no time.

Bottom line, I highly recommend Valeo if you are anywhere within driving distance of their office - or even if you're further, thanks to their telehealth options. My future plans involve moving across New Jersey, but I'll keep making the drive because the quality of care is unmatched. 5 stars all the way!

The staff and receptionist, especially Rosanna, are super friendly and kind. The doctors are all extremely knowledgeable in their field. They offer telehealth which has been so convenient. Highly recommend.

As a long-time patient at Valeo Health in Point Pleasant I cannot praise them highly enough. The staff are wonderful and professional. The doctor is excellent and has been a great help. Office is always spotlessly clean and nicely maintained with modern decor. I highly recommend them to anyone
requiring competent, caring service. Location is easy to get to and parking is plentiful. All around a great practice!

The providers at this office care deeply about their patients. You get very personalized medical care here. Dr. J. Periasamy and Dr. D. Barabash are excellent. Coordinating multiple prescriptions with your pharmacy is easy and straightforward. The office staff is also very easy to work with. They are very friendly, professional and accommodating of your scheduling needs.
