Aug 2025 update: White’s is closed, owners retired after 71 years, according to the notice posted on the doors. Thanks for all the great memories: Best crumb cake in the universe, not just LBI. Truly perfect proportions: mostly crumb topping with yellow cake below. Just look at it! Get more than one or you'll be sorry.
I have been going here since I was a kid. It feels like a hallmark of my life. Fantastic cold cuts, great sandwiches, great bagels, friendly staff.
Prices are reasonable given sizes, quality, staff, quality and location
So they have everything you need and fresh meats. Staff is cool and funny jokes as well.

When you're stuck on an island and there's no place to go except whites this place seems like a God-sent! This little market reminds me of things that I used to see in Spain little bodegas by carried everything. In the back is a very nice deli Which makes fresh sandwiches that are huge and delicious! If you can't find it ask the people at white's and I'll tell you if they can get it or not. Aside from the random mannequin hand that hangs out in different places in the market, This little gem is a keeper!
