Such a beautiful place! There’s a bathroom on premises and plenty of parking. The trails on site are pretty easy to walk, so anyone can do them. Def a must visit, and dog friendly!

This is a small arboretum with no admission and no parking fees. However it was laid out nicely and provided maps at the entrance so you could find your way around. It is friendly to both kids and dogs.

The location is a wonderful and cozy spot, perfect for families seeking a peaceful getaway. While it is relatively small, it offers several roads to explore, making it ideal for a quiet retreat with children from newborns up to 12 years old. However, older children may find the environment less engaging and could become bored.

It is a beautiful arboretum albeit less known than its Long Island peers Planting Fields and Bayard Cutting arboretums. Areas around the house and ponds have most notable tree collections including dawn redwoods. There are hiking woodland trails around perimeter of the property, fair number of mosquitoes in August.

We come here a few times a year. We've been here during winter, spring, and summer. It's in the middle of a quiet town with trees everywhere. Driving through the town puts your mind at peace and makes you feel one with nature.

The garden grounds aren't that big, and you can cover the entire area in under an hour. Take your time walking the trail and soak in the nature. There is a lake/pond right by the parking lot, separated by a path in the middle. Unfortunately, where there is a pond or lake, there will be ducks and geese. Be careful not to step on their poop.

There is a small playground/play area for kids, which most children will enjoy.

They do have a wedding/party venue in the garden.
