Harrison Williams Woods is located across from the Village of Bayville city offices and library on School Road.
It is all a wooded area with multiple crisscrossing trails. The trails are not marked but you will not get lost for long since the woods are not large and the perimeter is bounded by roads and houses. The trails have gentle slopes that are not too bad. You can take your dog on the trails but must be on a leash.
Along the trails you will see multiple bat houses and also owl houses.
Limited parking is available across from the village offices.
Took me about 20 mins to traverse the trails and make a loop. Hilly terrain with mature oaks makes for a fun hike. Too many mosquitoes in August after recent rains. Plenty of parking across the street from preserve’s entrance next to Bayville historical museum and other offices. Too small to be a destination on its own but worth checking out if you are in the area.
