West Harbor beach is a gem in Bayville. Resident only parking but beach passes for guests are available at village hall. Great place to BBQ on the water & enjoy the beautiful beach, with views of Bayville bridge, Oyster Bay & Center Island. Bay side beach is perfect for little kids, w/life guards on duty, bathroom & shower facility accessible. Being on the North Shore, water shoes are recommended.
Good for a short-term stop in winter, picturesque views of the bay. Park is for residents only, but that’s likely an issue for warmer months.
Very short beach, lots of wind here. It is a short walk to the parking lot which is listed for residents only. It's not the kind of place I would recommend lounging by the beach due to the distance from the grass to the tide, but it is still an enjoyable walk. We came here during the off-season on a rainy day so there weren't many people. A little bit of trash/broken glass but otherwise clean for a beach. If you live near here, it would be a nice place to go. We came looking for sea glass but found very little.
Beautiful, quite ,natural beauty. I had my food with me and there is a pave to sit to enjoy the food. Around 12 people can sit there. Parking is free.
Need to have a village sticker for this beach. It's a nice quite place to take a walk and have some some peace for a little bit.
