Barryville Bottle

Stopped by this 12 year old liquor store that looked like it was built yesterday for a bottle of bourbon. Had a great talk with Craig the owner and enjoyed our conversation about life, golf and Japanese whiskey. I felt like I knew him for years. Stop by if you get a chance and check out his selection.

I am a repeat customer for 10 years. Their selection is limited and that's a good thing when the owners know and care about wine and spirits. Everything on the shelves is quality for the money. Friendly informed people run it and their sweet dog often greets you at the door.

Very knowledgeable on what pairs well with what. My family orders by the case in some instances. Their office pup is a delight and so friendly.

A joy to have in the neighborhood! Charming little shop with just the kind of wines I like--sourced from all over the world, not mass market but not too pricey either! Suggestions for food pairing. Really friendly helpful people. If you want something more expensive, they have it. Useful selection of spirits and liqueurs as well.

I love this place, but please understand what they sell This is a small store (in a small town!) . They have hand picked a number of bottles, from very inexpensive to more expensive. I'm no wine expert, but I haven't had a bad bottle from them ever. BUT... if you wander in and ask for some obscure wine, they probably will not have it in stock (but can try to help you get it!)
