Food is good. Waitress is good. however bar service sucks. They wont let you sit at the bar if you arent a regular. The bartender/manager has been rude to my parents multiple times despite me living a 1/4 mile away and the bartender knowing that my parents have gone with me for dinner there before multiple times. She refused bar service for my family and even told them one time that the kitchen was closed despite food still being served. White whale is officially the better bar in seaford harbor and it has a brighter athmosphere. The people are nicer. White whale is my new go to for drinks and food. I will go back to the bayview tavern when the bartender/manager decides to clean up their act and be more respectful to my family and stop treating them like outcasts. For now i will keep my business with the white whale.
Cute spot. Amazing service. Great food 🫶🏽
A nice spot close to Cedar Creek Park. The kids menu includes entry, drink, and ice cream for under $10.
The Bayview Tavern, @bayviewtavernseaford is a classic local tavern food and drinks place across from some of Seaford's canals. Below is a picture of the inside, and the sign at the back of the room reflects the Caps restaurant they used to own that was dockside before superstorm Sandy. I have visited Bayview Tavern several times, and the home-style comfort food is consistently delicious. The crew is fun and personable while being remarkably efficient. Of course, all COVID-19 precautions are fully observed in keeping with the times; even the bar crowd, a stout, hardy, and gregarious bunch, observe the rules. The drinks are well made and very generous pours. For the food, the menus are a great collection of tavern food and several specials each day, all of which are moderately priced. I go for the specials as it tends to show off the kitchen's real talent or shortcomings. For more details go to LIWINEDAD.BLOGSPOT.COM
