Visited Benthos shortly after they opened and have been a fan ever since! Amy is exceptional and puts so much thought into her space, curation, and the care for her customers. Such a gem in nyc !!
Hands down best archival showroom in the city! Amy really cares about her collection. Her hand selected garments receive a special kind of TLC that is very visible when browsing her space. What’s best is, you leave with a special inspiration that makes you reimagine how you view clothes. MUST VISIT! 10/10🤍🤍🤍🤍
The way Benthos is curated feels like opening my own closet. It invites me to explore, choose, and settle into something that feels personal. Everything is so intentionally designed, welcoming, and intimate.
In addition, Benthos also does consignment. I love bringing my past-loved garments to Amy because we share the same excitement and sentiment for vintage. I can always count on her to find loving homes for pieces I no longer wear.
My favorite place to look for unique vintage. The pieces are so thoughtfully sourced, the showroom is a lovely environment, and the owner Amy is the kindest person! Showrooms can sometimes feel intimidating, but even just stopping by to try on or look through the curation is so welcomed here, which I love!
Benthos is definitely one of my favorite vintage stores in NYC. The pieces are so thoughtfully curated and the space itself feels like an art gallery with the way everything is displayed. I bought my first Issey top here and it’s definitely one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now. You’ll find pieces there that you’ll treasure for a lifetime instead of pieces you forget about after a couples wears.
