After a long day of holiday shopping, we stumbled upon this spot and couldn’t have been happier. Exhausted and hungry, we were warmly greeted by Steven at the door, who instantly made us feel welcome.
Once seated, we were treated to hot bread and garlic knots served with their incredible homemade dipping sauce — the perfect start. Sonny came by to share the day’s specials and take our order. We went with the scarpiello chicken wings, penne vodka, and chicken milanese. Every dish was clearly made fresh to order and arrived piping hot.
The staff checked in on us often, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The portions were extremely generous — so much so that we had plenty to take home. By the time we left, we felt completely opposite of how we arrived: full, happy, and thrilled to have discovered a new neighborhood restaurant. Between the warm hospitality, friendly staff, and delicious food, this place is a gem of a find.
We went for the first time tonight after reading all the positive reviews. 2 personal pizzas and linguine and calamari. Everything was super, the calamari dish had delicious sauce perfectly cooked pasta and a ton of squid. With such reasonable prices I was shocked at such great quality and portion size. Can’t wait to go back
I come here with my family all the time. This is our go to spot! You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken scarp. Service is always good, and we are always treated like family in here!! Definitely check out Benvenuto’s if you’re in the Mohegan area!
I traveled from NJ for a family dinner and was warmly greeted by the staff. The place was busy, mostly with locals, which was a good sign. Service was excellent—attentive and helpful.
For appetizers, the Thai chili calamari was a standout—spicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried the antipasto and Mozzarella in Carozza, both great.
For mains, we had chicken scarpariello, chicken parmigiana, rigatoni bolognese, and veal saltimbocca—all were fantastic, with the chicken scarpariello being a highlight—vinegary, spicy, and served with garlicky penne. Portions were generous, and I couldn't resist finishing my plate.
The cocktails were refreshing, especially the blood orange coconut special. Desserts were top-notch too—house-made tiramisu and perfect cannoli with crisp shells and just the right sweetness.
Can’t wait to come back and try some of the other menu items 😋😋
This is my fifth time here and yet again every dish was exceptional. Drove 45 minutes to bring my friends from out of town and we raved about how delicious every dish is. The service is wonderful and welcoming. We were treated like family/regulars.
We will for sure become regulars here.
