It’s OK not the best Neighbourhood but when they give you a smoking groom when he did not ask for a smoking groom, that’s bad specially if you don’t know if they’re going to charge your credit card or not, I had to take pictures before just in case if they would say, I smoked in the room because there was holes in the carpet and ashtrays, but their policy says they will charge me if I smoke in the room, the service is OK when I need to switch for a different room, but the guy wanted to see ID if my dog is a real service dog or not and there was no hot water in the shower. I would go there again only if it’s an emergency, but rather not.

My bestie and I stayed here for a weekend and honestly served it's purpose. It's 2 star hotel so not sure why anyone expects 5 star. I wouldn't stay there long term for sure for for a quick weekend it was nice. The location was close to metro. There was a lot of good food options down the block. Some people mentioned a lot of homeless but I didn't see anything crazy more then the normal new York vibe. We were two females and felt comfortable walking around the area even at night. The front desk John was super helpful as well. Overall enjoyed the stay.

I dont know who else others have talked to regarding staff. But both guys i spoke with at check in and check out were very nice. As for the rooms, even if the beds are stained there's a protective cover over them, clean sheet and ok pillows. My only complaint is there was like a hole in the bathrooms ceiling stuffed with im assuming paper towels. If i were to have stayed in NY longer, I would go else where. But the hotel does what it needs for a short stay

The area is NOT sketchy, its just an underpass! Dont listen to the other comments!! The bodega next door was lovely the dude made a mean sausage and and cheese on a roll. The front desk guy was kind. Yes he is behind bullet proof glass ... but hey its a 2star hotel what do you want?!!? My biggest complaint was the bed was hard as a ROCK. It was a king size bed, the room was small but pretty clean. Honestly this hotel does what it needs (is a place to sleep) for a great price!!! Id stay there again!
