Nice little park along riverfront near boat ramp and restaurants. Good for cookouts, hiking, running or walking. Pretty view of the river.
There are great views here, there is a a boat launch and fishing off the banks. There is a tree lined shaded bank with good sized trees and benches. My friends and I were visiting for our second year for the 4th Annual wine and music festival. The entertainment this year was not as great as last year but the DJ was great, he opened up the festival then live entertainment took over. Everyone both years were mature individuals and we had a great time without any incidents which was absolutely wonderful! While the weather started out a little cool it warmed up 🙂 nicely!! If I had negative it would be the same one I brought to the attention as last year, there needs to be more ports potties 😡, as it got pretty crowded and porta potties got pretty 🤢 gross.
There's a nice park on the Newburgh Waterfront, which is basically just a field and a round paved walking trail, right on the Hudson River. It's a great place to walk for exercise. Many people bring their dogs or children on bikes, or your fishing pole. There are a few benches along the shore. The area is to the left of the Waterfront restaurant strip, over to the right by the boat launch. There's plenty of free parking. It's open 7am-7pm.
A Picturesque corner of the (near NYC) Hudson valley! Went on a day that the Water Ferry was not running to Beacon, NY, so will plan a return to take the short jaunt across the E/W coasts!
