This was a great spot to stop off the expressway to see the Hudson River. There just happened to be a lot of tree bugs and full trash cans during our visit.
You can feel the dread going to the cemetery and memorial. Hard to believe that ever happened.
Very surreal experience. Highly recommend going.

I recommend walking the mi long stretch of shops and nooks in Beacon as well!!
This place has nice river and bridge views, and gets awesome sunset vistas. It's just some walking trails and a place to hang out. It's adjacent to another park with some basketball courts and playground facilities and such. There's a short stretch in between them that's not park, but you can walk from one to the other relatively easily. I prefer this end. Drum circle Thursday nights. Lol.
Long Dock Park in Beacon, NY, is a beautiful riverside spot with great views, open space, kayaking, and easy trails. Perfect for picnics and relaxing by the Hudson. Clean, dog-friendly, and never too crowded a peaceful escape.
