They could not have been more wonderful and compassionate. They made an incredibly difficult time much more comforting. It was done so beautifully and peacefully. As hard as that decision always is, I could not have hoped for anything better. From the initial phone call, where I was sobbing and incoherent, to the final swaddling of my beautiful baby girl, where I was sobbing and incoherent, I knew I had made the right decision. I cannot thank and recommend them enough
During one of the most heartbreaking moments for our family—the passing of our beloved dog Beans—we were fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Lisa Walling and her office manager Jessica. Their professionalism, empathy, and grace made an unbearable experience feel gently supported and deeply respected.
From the moment we first contacted to arrange at home euthanasia to the day of, Dr. Walling and Jessica treated Beans and our family with the utmost courtesy and kindness. They were patient, never rushed us, and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye.
They explained the process thoroughly so we understood what would take place and always has their clients best interests so they are confortable. Dr. Walling’s gentle demeanor and clear communication helped us feel informed and comforted throughout the process. Jessica was equally compassionate, handling every detail—from paperwork to final arrangements—with care and dignity, offering pet loss support as well. The cremation and final gifts were managed with a sense of importance that truly reflected how much Beans meant to us.
This team didn’t just provide veterinary services—they offered a sanctuary of empathy and professionalism when we needed it most. We are forever grateful for the way they honored Beans’ life and supported ours in her final moments. Thank you 🙏
Dr. Lisa was amazing..whoever this person is leaving a 1 star review..honestly, I pity them. Dr Walling is kind and compassionate, all this extraneous bs about "stuff", its all so trivial. The most important thing is that your cat crossed over painlessly, with dignity. She was recommended by someone close to me, and I will be forever grateful for such a peaceful experience...she is an earth angel
Extremely grateful for Dr Lisa Walling. From her initial response and insight in the days prior, the gentle care and professional attention on the house call, and the personal note a week later. Letting go of my buddy was extremely difficult and what was filled with sadness was also done with love and care. Thank you Lisa! RIP Thumper
Highly recommend! Dr. Walling and Jessica of Comforting Care Veterinary services are THEEE best!! They were kind, gentle, and compassionate while assisting in the passing of my precious cat Louie. Louie was diagnosed with cancer a month prior at the young age of 10 and rapidly declined. He was my first pet and the sweetest boy, but also my first pet loss. I was scared to make this decision and it was something I did not take lightly. Dr. Walling and Jessica were extremely empathetic to our feelings and provided comfort throughout the entire process.
Louie’s passing was peaceful and dignified. I got to hold him the entire time, all the way through to his last breath, and then some. Dr. Walling treated Louie with respect and great care. As a sentimental person, I was blown away by the thoughtfulness of Dr. Walling and the sentimental gifts and actions that followed. I won’t spoil the surprises.
If you are looking for in home euthanasia for your beloved fur baby- Dr. Walling from Comfort Care Veterinary Services is the way to go.
