Such a lovely experience at Eureka Books and More! The lady was so kind to my daughter, who absolutely loved the magazines and magnetic blocks. We felt so welcomed thank you! ❤️
Adorable shop with puzzles, STEM games, and books! Shop owner is excellent with kids and has educational games all set up to try. My 9 year son loved this shop!
What a delightful place! We stopped here on a road trip with my four year old son looking for something to do, and to stretch our legs. The selection is amazing, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore and experiment with the large amount of STEM/STEAM toys on offer. He even asked if we could go back to the "magic bookstore" on our way home.
The woman who runs the store is kind, patient, and just as excited about the products as we were. Truly a magical experience!
This little book store is truly a hidden gem. The new and used books are consciencesly sorted by topic, and there's even a section for local writers! I was very happily surprised at how many different topics they had.
But, you might be saying, 'I have young kids, what would they do while I look for that particular book I have been wanting?' Never fear; the owner was a science teacher, and there are tons of building/learning/experiential games and puzzles, some of which were out to be played with on the central tables. Overall, they were high-quality and seemed to focus on STEM and critical thinking, which are skills that we need so much in our kids today.
In addition, the store space is able to be set up for meetings (rental available), and as of this review, they're hosting a book club meeting, poetry workshops, and community meetings. You can check out their website for upcoming events.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere in the shop was very upbeat and engaging. It's a stop definitely worth your time.
Charming little used and new book store. The owner is super friendly and set the space up so that kids can test out many of the STEM games. If you're in the area for Legoland and have kids with you, I highly recommend a short detour to check out this store and bring home some interesting games and puzzles!
