This place is diamond rated from the food to the service. Everything I guarantee everyone should go here and experience what I did. I would definitely go back. It's not just a place, it's more family. I guarantee you would love every single thing. That's on that menu. You must go to this place. It's amazing.

Wow. That food had me emotional. Reminded me of an old friend, no longer physically here but always in my heart. So good though to connect emotionally through really good SOUL type food. Dexter, my friend, you're just awesome. Thank you for that sweet experience. You'll see us again, I'm sure

This place did not disappoint. Let me tell you that half lemonade half iced tea is amazing. Do yourself a favor and add a tequila shot to it. The jumbo shrimps are really good. My husband made the mistake of ordering the 6 count. They are addictive. My husband expressed that he should have ordered the 12 count. My 6 year old who doesn’t eat shrimp ate shrimp that day and kept asking for more. To add to that they have the best cornbread I’ve ever had. It’s so moist and warm. My son had the chicken legs with fries. He loved them. Of course I took a piece of it. That fried chicken was so flavorful, crunchy and juicy. We met Derek who is just a ray of sunshine. He is so personable and probably one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. His smile and attitude is just infectious. Stop thinking and try this place out.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this soul food restaurant Fish & Chikzzz, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The cornbread was simply divine, perhaps the best I've ever had! Dexter, the owner, epitomizes hospitality—he was incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel truly welcomed.
My favorites of the evening were the shrimp and collard greens, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Not only was the food outstanding, but the ambiance of the restaurant was also delightful. The environment was warm and inviting, and the music added the perfect touch to the overall experience.
I'm already counting down the days until my next visit—I can't wait to come back and enjoy another delicious meal. It’s always a bonus when it’s a black-owned business the experience is even more meaningful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional soul food and top-notch service!
