Home Improvement with TLC

I came across Brian's home improvement classes through a flyer from Nassau Community College and boy am I glad I did! To date, I have taken 9 of Brian's classes/workshops and can honestly say I have learned a ton of stuff that I never knew about my house. He is a down-to-earth person who genuinely cares about his students and that their houses are safe and efficient. As a teacher, he is able to breakdown the most complex concepts so that the average person who knows nothing about construction/repair (i.e. me!) can understand. I love his powerpoints, the wording is easy to understand and they always come with diagrams. Although the series with NCC is complete, he offers additional classes through his website and I fully intend to continue the learning! Thanks Brian!

Thanks to Brian I do not feel daunted when issues arise in my home. I've learned so much from his home improvement classes. He is so patient and detailed. During a recent Periodic Home Inspection, he went through every inch of my home and took the time to point out and identify all the important valves, switches, etc. He even provided me with labels to jot down what the valves were for, so I could easily inform someone where they are located, and for my own awareness. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Brian. I look forward to attending your next class.

Brian is a consummate professional, a home encyclopedia really. He's like the teacher you wanted in school but often never had. He teaches with a depth of knowledge, experience and expertise that’s also friendly and warm. If you want to know how to take care of your house/property properly and learn how everything works, he’s your guy. His classes where he shows you via demonstration and hands on exercises I attended were detailed and his home inspections are second to none. I would recommend him 100%.

If you own a home or someday plan to, this is an excellent class to take. Brian’s classes have provided me with a wealth of information and understanding of all the fundamentals of a house. From the foundation, grading, electrical, plumbing, insulation, painting, heating and cooling, etc.You will learn how to make repairs in your home, or what you need to know to hire the right person to do these repairs thereby saving yourself thousands of dollars. I highly recommend signing up for these classes. Brian is an amazing instructor. Do yourself a favor and take these classes!!

Brian works very hard at preparing a #1 professional program for everyone!
But most of all, Brian enjoys helping people the most and his care and concern for others is definitely what makes this program unique. You have fun, and don't realize you are pushing yourself to learn at the same time.
The best is saving the $$$ and then putting those $$$ to work on something you really want to enjoy!
