Immanuel Genius Educational Center

A year ago when I was doing research for my son's 3-K choice, I read through all the reviews parents left on Google about each 3-k center near my home. This one is closest to our home and naturally on the radar and top of the list. After almost a year in Immanuel, I come here to write a review myself to testify that all the good words said in the reviews from fellow students' parents are true. The center is a tight-knitted and well-organized institution, and the teachers are extremely caring and loving to the kids. I love the pictures the teachers send through the app of the kid throughout the day, my son is genuinely happy. The teachers send monthly curriculum through email, reading lists, monthly family projects, and relevant early childhood education readings to keep parents informed of how to educate and interact with our kids at home, help set routine etc., which is very helpful. I will choose to keep my son here for his pre-k, as it's close and a loving environment.

So glad we found Immanuel Genius for my son to start school. He's attended both 3k and preschool here and it's been great. Very communicative with parents and their curriculum is quite enriching. My son is quite shy but the teachers have been dedicated to getting him out of his shell. Great school to prepare kids for larger schools in the future!

My son enrolls in the 3k program here since September. The teachers here are very caring and loving. They send me pictures during school hours and let me know what activities they do in the classroom or do they go out to the playground for some exercise And from the app, I am also able to know what’s for lunch or whether he takes a nap, this is super important for me so I can plan out the rest of the evening. Every Thursday they also have taekwondo lesson in which my son really enjoys it. The school is well organized and there are plenty of activities planned ahead for the kids. The staff are friendly and well communicated. My son enjoys the school very much. Highly recommend this school!

My son started going here last September. So far he's learned social and life skills that he will need to enter into 4K. His speech and knowledge have improved and he has made a lot of friends at the school.

I wish they would teach language to 3K students, but he will have the opportunity to learn in 4K. More importantly, the school has a variety of activities such as going to the park across the street, Taekwondo, seasonal themed activities at school and homework for the kids.

The homework activities involves parents to education their children and spend time together - including a "Friday book club" in which students must read a book and do the activity associated with reading the book. The only complaint I have is that these books are not for my sons reading level, but I read them to him anyway and he enjoys them.

After reading some of the comment here of children being hit by the teachers, I don't think they physically hit children here. Maybe children in the past have been 'patted' or lightly 'tapped' on the hand while being potty trained. But my son has not come home with any signs of physical abuse or complaints about the teacher. He hugs both teachers when he goes to school.

Overall, it's a good school and probably better than the other alternatives out there. I hope to send him to the Little neck location so he can be in the bilingual program. Just remember, this is a place where they will be with other children to develop social skills, learn to grow, learn language, learn to eat on their own, learn to try new foods, learn to go to the bathroom and make friends.

This school is amazing. I enrolled my son for 2 years. The teachers are very loving towards the children and you are able to see that they are passionate about what they do. They keep you updated frequently and are always making sure the kids are on track. If you are in the area , I definitely recommend enrolling your kids here.
