I had the pleasure of working with Isabella Q at the Island Recreational Deer Park Store and I can’t say enough good things about her. From the moment I walked in Isabella made me feel welcome and completely at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable about pool maintenance and equipment which was such a relief since I’m a bit of a novice when it comes to pool care Not only did she take the time to explain what I needed in detail but she also recommended several products that I hadn’t considered which have made a noticeable difference in the quality of my pool. Isabella is patient, professional and has an infectious positive attitude. She made the whole experience enjoyable and educational. I also appreciated how she didn’t push any unnecessary products and her advice felt honest and grounded in her expertise.
I left the store feeling confident and well informed and I’ll definitely be coming back for all my related needs. If you’re lucky enough to work with Isabella you’re in great hands.

Stopped into the Deer Park Island Rec and was really impressed. They have great prices on pool toys, and Ryan F. was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the visit quick and easy. Definitely worth checking out!”

Matt M was fantastic helping with my pool cover. Very knowledgeable and made sure I was getting the right size. He was smart and was able to answer all of the questions I had regarding the types and sizes of the covers. An outstanding worker.

I purchased the Eco Salt Generator to switch my chlorine built-in pool to salt. It is legit 399 installed. However, you also do have to purchase all the salt so the total with the salt for my pool I needed 16 bags came to $555. Which I did pay for at the store I purchased it that however they didn’t have the eco system , so I had to drive to another store to pick up everything you have to be prepared to pick up all the salt I needed 16 bags ,40 pound each. I brought it all home my husband and I unloaded it all and I received an email from Island rec and a phone call saying when my scheduled appointment was for installation which was about two weeks later. You do have to have an outlet available for it and it does have to be hung on a post or on your home. The installation team came hooked up little echo box which is small however I was informed at that time that they will not put the salt in my pool that I had to break the bags open and dumped them in myself While they were here however, the helper of the team who came did help me with that and he ended up doing most of it for me. We did put less than what originally we had planned to in only 13 bags just to make sure we didn’t over salt we figured we can always add if we had to but it seems like that 13 bags is more than enough right now it’s working out great. Within 4 to 5 hours. All the salt was melted. I did have to get electrician in to put an outlet in for me and to make sure that everything was grounded properly which did cost a couple hundred dollars but honestly for under $1000 I had my chlorine pool switched over to salt which I no longer have to purchase chlorine shock and the various chemicals that you have to use for chlorine to keep it clear. Pool is sparkling and we love it. Definitely worth it. The reason I gave this store here specific Deer Park three stars is because they just took my money and ended up sending me to another store that had to do all the work Of loading my car with all the salt bags. I felt like they didn’t wanna be bothered.
