As a fellow clinician, I highly respect the quality of care Amy provides. She shows professionalism, thoughtful clinical judgment, and genuine dedication to her clients’ wellbeing.
This review is long over due. We used to go to It's a Girl Thing over a year ago. Initially, it was great, but we had a terrible experience with them. After a year, my daughter's therapist gave us notice that she was leaving. I asked for bios of the other therapists to find someone my daughter could connect with. However, it was difficult to get this information, and the website was outdated. We were forced to switch to the only available therapist a week before our therapist left. Unfortunately, this new therapist quit a few months later on a day when many teens had group therapy. I emailed multiple times to inquire about the situation, and eventually, I received a response stating that they did not want to renew her contract. The owner, Amy Frisch, called me after many emails, and we discussed her sending us bios of the current therapists. However, she never followed up. Throughout this ordeal, I maintained professionalism, but it left a bad taste in my mouth regarding It's a Girl Thang.
Great respectful nice and kind people to me and my daughter.
