I feel incredibly fortunate to live near this playground. My son, who has autism, and I have been visiting almost every day for years, and it truly is the best playground I’ve ever encountered. The sensory garden is a fantastic addition, providing a peaceful space for everyone. Both the playground and garden are fully fenced, ensuring safety, and they are 100% accessible for individuals with disabilities.

There are handicap swings and a wheelchair-accessible seesaw, and even the jungle gym features ramps leading all the way to the top. It’s a remarkable place that my son absolutely loves, with activities suitable for all ages, including older kids.

The garden itself is stunning, complete with a butterfly corner where we often see butterflies fluttering during the summer. There’s ample seating throughout both the playground and garden. Plus, there’s a porta-potty conveniently located just outside the gate (though it’s not available in winter for obvious reasons).

We've never experienced issues with the equipment being too hot, which is great since my son has sensitive skin. We’ve comfortably played there in shorts even on 90-degree days. The gate is secure, designed to prevent little ones from opening it easily, and the latch is positioned so that only adults or older children can access it.

The garden features informative signs for kids and a lovely stream with a bridge, alongside a beautiful shady gazebo adorned with vines. There’s also an adorable “leave a rock, take a rock” bin where kind visitors paint rocks with uplifting messages for others to enjoy.

This playground is truly a magical place, and we are so grateful to have it in our community. Thank you to everyone who contributed to its creation. Our lives would be much less enriched without it, especially in a time when outdoor activities for kids are limited.

This playground is located at a recreational park. Note that the recreational department has relocated and so the building is closed, which means bathrooms are closed. There are porta potties, but they were gross when I visited today. For an extensive park, with tennis courts, basket ball courts, baseball field and more, two portable potties where the only restrooms facilities. There was a water fountain, but that was a trek downhill. The only one I saw. At least the water was on. So plan for bathroom and water access.

The playground was nice for my little ones, except for the lack of shade. The playground has a great padded floor, which means little ones aren’t coming out with splinters. There are some corporative games stations, and what I would consider a techie challenge (it’s a light game of some sort). The playground is well designed for access of multi-abilities, so I wasn’t worried about my little one on any structure, as she followed behind her big sister. There are benches for sitting and picnic tables. We had lunch there. And there are four trash cans at the entrance. It’s a single entrance playground, on a top of a mound. As a result of being on a mound, it just exposed to all the sun, and there is no shade for neither the playground nor the parking lot. There are a few sun sails, a couple at the picnic benches, but that’s it, so you can eat in shade.

It’s a great playground! There are many activities.

Great park for kids of all ages as well as adults. They also have basketball and volleyball areas. Lots of parking and very clean.
