While the needlepoint canvases looked lovely, the two women sitting there were not exactly welcoming.

I am an avid knitter and crocheter. I recently started learning cross stitch, and am always open to leaning new things. I saw the pretty needlecraft artwork in the window and decided to check it out.

When walking in one woman asked if I needed help. I basically said the above. One of them barked "this isn't cross stitch". I said I know, my mother used to do needlepoint and I'm open to new things. She then proceeded to tell me (in quite a snotty tone) "I'm sure this isn't your mother's needlepoint either".

Fine. You'll never get my business. I think the other woman might have tried to save herself by starting to tell me everything was hand painted. I was so turned off I told my husband let's go, and we walked out.

Don't make judgements and be nasty to potential customers. Obviously they don't care if someone new might have been willing to spend money in their pricey shop.

    What a disappointing experience.

People there are so nice. The lady who helped me found what I needed instantly. Social distancing was in place and everyone was wearing masks... correctly!

Wonderful needlepoint store. The owner Miriam is amazing as are the other staff! All are extremely knowledgeable about their threads and make some of the best suggestions for threads and stitches I've ever received. Great selection of canvases and anything they don't have, they can easily order for you and wonderful finishing services. It's fun to just sit and stitch there for a few hours if you have the time! What a great pleasure shopping and spending time here!

KEEP ME IN NEEDLEPOINT IS STILL OPEN. They shared a space with Keep Me in Stitches, which closed. The Needlepoint store is still open at the same location. They still have a wonderful assortment of needlepoint canvases. The service is excellent, Miriam has a wonderful eye for color and is a great help in choosing threads.
