Okay so this places ambience is really cute and it's good for like a quick last minute dinner. The sashimi we got was super fresh. The sushi pizza was too like Americanized for me i thought it would be more like Tokus sushi pizza but it's kind of a random mix of imitation crab, some other fish on this chewy rice bed. Moreover Personally, i HATE the fact there are no reservations. I came in here once trying to get dinner and it was a mad house, there was a line out the door, phones ringing off the hook, three DoorDash drivers standing by the desk waiting for a hostess. The hostesses were running around. It just doesn't seem efficient for a place that is so popular. Overall 3.5/5
This is my favorite Japanese restaurant near my home, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been here. It’s always bustling with customers — a clear sign of how much people love this place. The servers are warm and friendly, and the dishes are fresh and delicious. Though it’s tucked away in an unremarkable corner, its popularity proves that good things never go unnoticed — guests just keep coming.
Kotobuki Roslyn has the kind of peaceful, relaxed vibe that makes you feel like you’re dining in your own cozy backyard—only better, because you’re being served fresh, high-quality food you are enjoy. The outdoor seating is quiet, perfect for unwinding. The service is friendly and attentive without ever feeling pushy. The sushi is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. This has become one of my go-to spots when I want a calm, satisfying meal without the hassle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great sushi in a laid-back setting.
“Sushi left me... wanting more 🍣”
Dropped by Kotobuki in Roslyn and was not disappointed. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated—crispy on the outside, creamy avocado on top, and just the right drizzle of sauce. The textures really hit that perfect balance.
I went with one of their specialty rolls (as seen in the photo) and it was a bite-sized umami bomb. The vibe was cozy and casual, and the service was friendly without being overbearing.
Minor drawback? The portions lean a little on the delicate side, so if you're hungry-hungry, be prepared to order a few rounds. But overall, this place left a lasting impression—and a little hole in my heart when the last roll disappeared.
