Lake Superior State Park

Very nice there
Boats were closed for the winter so it was very quiet and peaceful

My sister had an employee cookout that we went to. It was soo nice. The scenery was pretty. We went in the boats with kids and it was soo quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful park with a lake for swimming and picnic tables with grills.
The park also offers rental paddle boats and canoes at a fair price. My family rented a cabin near by and went for Labor Day weekend we had a great time.

Nicely maintained state park with a boat launch, swimming beach and picnic areas on Dr Duggan Rd. Lake Superior is one of the best flat-water paddling places in Sullivan County. The entire shoreline is park land, so it's very green and natural. Only electric motor boats are permitted, as well as any paddled boats of course. The ramp is concrete and includes a dock, so is suitable for hand- and trailer-launched boats. Staff here recently carved out and mowed trails connecting the fields and woods on both sides of the road. These trails and the picnic area in the south part of the park are free year round, but the swimming beach charges for parking during the summer (check the park website for the exact dates). There is long, unmarked but clear trail along the park's southwestern edge starting at Indian Field Rd, where you can park on the roadside. This trail borders a hunting club, so be sure to respect their property and wear blaze orange if visiting in dear hunting season.

Quiet and nice lake. Thay also have rental boats, kanoes, pedalboats that have super low rates. Water is murky but the overall atmosphere is great.
