Mary is very knowledgeable in trauma therapy. Mary takes the time to listen and help the individual find realistic solutions and feedback. Mary is able to provide manageable and realistic coping strategies so that you succeed in therapy, especially if you put the work in. Mary is amazing with children of all ages, especially teens. she is able to connect with them which as anyone knows it is hard to do with teenagers. My teens have used the strategies and feedback she provides and it has helped them to find their voices and provided independence. If you are willing to put in the work for therapy then Mary is the therapist for you!!
Mary has insight and wisdom that is a gift from whatever your beliefs are, God, the universe, a higher power, she is truly incredible. Whenever I am baffled on handling any situation I always think Mary will know how to advise me. I have learned so much about myself along with what may be hindering or helping me. I have done so much healing, confidence building, and have been taught tools and strategies for self improvement and growth. I have learned ways to reduce my stress and find peace. Now the next goal we are working on is how to set healthy boundaries. Mary is miraculous and I consider her a blessing. I hope my words have done her justice.
Mary is one of the most compassionate and dedicated therapists that I know. She really helped my children and myself out through a very difficult process. Did I see eye to eye with her all the time, no I did not, but I did trust the process and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I did! My children are much better emotionally and mentally because of Mary. I would highly recommend Mary.
Mary truly changed/saved not only my life but my families. She began working with me through family therapy sessions with my parents when I was 19. At that time I was depressed anxious and in so much pain, I don't think I even realized how much at that time! Mary has worked with my individually since I was 19, and even when I gave her a run for her money she was always patient and believed in my ability to grow. I wouldn't be where I am or who I am today without all the change she had helped me make. She is more than a therapist but a life coach and mentor. I wish she wasn't so busy because I want everyone in my life to be seen by such an amazing therapist. She is truly all about meeting you where you are in the journey to healing. I can not recommend enough. She has healed my relationships with my mom, my sister, and myself, something I really didn't think was possible when I began seeing her so many years ago!
Mary does a great job at building a rapport with the families she serves. Her office is inviting and filled with fun things to do for the children she helps. The journey to healing isn't always smooth one but Mary doesn't give up on her patients and families. I have learned better communication skills with my child and to understand what is being said as well as what's not being said.
