I cannot say enough about how amazing the people at this practice are. I have been treated with nothing but genuine kindness and support during the several months I’ve been going here to see Dr. Horney. I know that my issues and needs are understood and taken seriously by him and Karen and the rest of the people working throughout the office. They take the time to listen and empathize, which many doctors and practitioners lack. I’m truly grateful and blessed for all of their hard work and presence during this difficult time for me and all of their patients. I have worked with Michael for the past couple of years, Micheal is such a talented healer on multiple levels, he is so in tune with the body amd the body’s needs and so knowledgeable with his chiropractic work and also his hypnotherapy. I want to express my immense gratitude to Dr. Horney and his team for their exceptional care and attentiveness. In June, I visited Dr. Horney with concerns about persistent foot, ankle, knee, and hip pain. After listening carefully to my symptoms and considering my family history, he recommended blood work, x-rays, and a consultation with a rheumatologist due to potential autoimmune disease.

Thanks to Dr. Horney’s thorough approach, I was diagnosed with Sjogren’s Disease by a rheumatologist at the end of July.

Dr. Horney’s holistic approach to care is rare in healthcare, and I am forever grateful for his guidance. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and come up with a holistic plan to address your symptoms. He always explains what he is doing and why he is doing it when performing adjustments.

Without his expertise, I might have continued to suffer without knowing the true cause of my symptoms. I spent an entire year going to podiatrists, physical therapists, and orthopedic sports medicine with no answers.

I also want to thank the office staff as well for their kindness and for helping me navigate the complexities of my health insurance. They went above and beyond to ensure I received a TENs unit as well.

Dr. Micheal S Horney at Port Jefferson Chiropractic has been a delightful experience. I've never been to a Chiropractor before and when I started to have lower back pains, I heard it was something highly recommended to feel better. My first visit to the office was very calm and inviting. They always welcome new patients with their upbeat staff. When I continued to go back, I've had no problem with scheduling, they're very good with being flexible and always do the best to accommodate.
