Monti's Barbershop

Monti’s Barbershop in Yaphank was the perfect place for my husband and his groomsmen to get ready on our wedding day. As a barber himself, it meant a lot to him to spend that time in a barbershop, and Monti’s made the experience feel truly special. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the space is so nice, truly picture-perfect for getting ready photos. Highly recommend!

Bryan is an amazing stylish barber that does great work. Monti, and Justin the owners are fantastic people. THEY ALL REALLY CARE. I trust them completely

I came here while on a work trip and didn't like my haircut. I've been stewing on it over night and the barber just rubbed me the wrong way.

I showed the guy a photo and said "give me a number two all the way to the part, then blend it high and tight on the other side. Trim it short in the top but leave enough to style it over". He cut my hair with a lot of detail and really took his time lining it up. I'm sure he gives great hair cuts, but he blended my hair at the part. When he finished I told him didn't cut it the way I asked him to. He told me he didn't understand what I was asking for and was giving me tips on how to ask for the cut I wanted. He never said sorry for not giving me the cut I wanted. But I showed him the photo again and he told me he thought my last barber cut it that way by mistake. I've been getting my hair cut this way for 8 years at probably a dozen different barbers in 3 different states and no one ever misunderstood what I wanted before.

Honestly, it's still a pretty decent haircut, I just wish the guy apologized for not cutting it the way I wanted. I feel like he was blaming me for it when I've never had an issue before. I think he just cut it the way he wanted thought was best. Idk maybe my haircut looked stupid the last 8 years and this guy's right. Walked out with a cut I didn't want a bruised ego.

Really nice atmosphere inside the shop. Honestly I'd come back and try a different barber if I lived here. Last time a barber messed up my cut, they apologized and offered me a refund. I didn't take it and still tipped. This guy should have apologized and offered me something just as a gesture for me not being satisfied. I wouldn't have have accepted because this guy deserves to be paid for his time, but the thought counts in my books.

Great spot, I had JUSTO cut my hair (not Justin) and he did a phenomenal job. This particular barber has since moved locations, and me along with many others have followed him. Dylan and Justin were kind enough to let me know to google "Justoblendss" to find him.

Absolutely beautiful! A great place to bring the kitties for a haircut, that’s for sure! My son has gotten a bad haircut before, since then he will ONLY go to Monti’s and has anxiety every time he gets a hair cut. He never wants to get his hair cut, and I usually have to wait couple days before I can get a late appointment via their app. Well this time we decided to try the new location, because they had a lot of same day, evening appointments. We saw Justin. As soon as we walked in all my sons, anxiety instantly went away because the place was absolutely huge and beautiful. They had a beautiful sit down bar with all goodies and coffee and a couple of games for the kids. They had a bunch of TVs and all the waiting/seating areas were so comfortable! My son and I played a fun game while we waited. I heard my son talking with Justin the whole time, about Roblox and baseball! He said he wants to start coming to this Monti’s now ! While I do LOVE our barbers at the Moriches location, my son fell in love with the new location!! We will definitely be returning here! I’m sure we will still go to the Moriches one as well But it is nice to have a new location that we can bounce back-and-forth with and I know I’ll never have to worry about my son getting another bad haircut and will always have a lot of options when it comes to open appointments at Monti’s!!!!
