My experience here was amazing. The employee, Kayla, was so nice and helpful. She showed me scrolls that were up for purchase and was so kind and informative she really sealed the deal! Thank you Kayla!

Founded by Yuka and Rex Rivolo as a non-profit artistic sanctuary rooted in the philosophy that "art is knowledge," Rivolozang Art Museum has crafted a legendary collection through decades of devotion.
Rex's lifelong pursuit has amassed 40,000 artifacts spanning five millennia—each a cryptographic key to civilizations.
From the melancholic poetry of Picasso's Blue Period signed prints to the rustic hymns of Barbizon School originals, from the philosophical whispers of Northern Song celadon crackles to the explosive pop semiotics of Andy Warhol, the museum constructs an aesthetic genome bridging East and West.

Yuka’s curatorial audacity shatters temporal and spatial boundaries, juxtaposing Dan Welden’s solarplate etchings with digital recreations of Dunhuang’s celestial dancers. A six-dimensional exhibition system harmonizes Dürer’s copperplate precision with the innocence of children’s ukiyo-e, while a global gallery network pulses from New York to Japan. Nestled in the heart of New York, this "humble ark" radiates scholarly depth, educational warmth, and panoramic vision, igniting transgenerational artistic sparks to script an immortal epic of enlightenment within the eternal river of human civilization.

From the 17th century to contemporary art, oil paintings, watercolors, drawings, prints, sculptures and children’s art exhibits . Have children's club, lectures every two weeks (Goya's "Los Caprichos" just ended), oil painting’s club, and print’s club. Fantastic gallery.

The place is spacious, and there's a great variety of art pieces from both Eastern and Western cultures. I will definitely visit the place again.
