Ocean Poke

Went here with some friends and thought the food overall was mid. The service was fine and the nothing inherently wrong with the atmosphere/sitting areas, as it is mostly self-service. One of my friends got the miso ramen and described it saying: broth was flavorless, felt watered-down, and wasn't great. The Takoyaki filling was good, but the squid inside was too tough to the point where I couldn't eat it anymore. My other friend who got the spicy garlic chicken ramen actually enjoyed it and claims it was good, so I would at least probably recommend that. However, the poke bowl I wouldn't recommend getting spicy tuna in it. Most poke places don't serve the minced version of spicy tuna and I found out why, it just doesn't work. The rest of the toppings inside were fine, but the spicy tuna made that way just doesn't work in a poke bowl. Hard to say I'd come back with other places in the area that just do it better for similar price.

literally my favorite ramen place nearby, comparable to sherry blossom which is another fave of mine. their marinated boiled eggs are my own personal addiction and i love that they have a sheet where you can fill out what you want in your poke bowl. this is a place where dreams come true, and i am the egg hero.

It’s one thing to be good, it’s another thing to be CONSISTENTLY good. We have ordered here nearly 20 times now, in the past 2 years. Every single time has been a 10/10. We always custom order our Poke bowls. The seafood is fresh and tasty, the service is outstanding, the price is fair.

Tips: If you’re hungry, would suggest the 3 protein portion. Street side parking available. Easy to order online for pick up orders.

The young girl who assisted me suggested the chicken karaage,I add it to all my orders and it's good. I love Poke Bowl, and the way they made it are truly fresh and tasty. I went there to stop by to order to bring home. My schedule didn't permit me to dine in. That's why I bring it home. But while waiting, I observe they have a cute little place, nice and clean. Will surely come back to dine in.
