Very glad that I found a great place to go to for specialized repair service. My receiver was not functioning well with bad switches, knobs and bad noises. Now it feels, looks, and sounds phenomenal! Great workmanship! Thank you again for your great care of my Marantz 2230!

We found Old School Audio72 in an online search for the possible repair of a very old clock radio, circa 1980's. I met Dimitri and showed him the radio and described the problem to him. I also had him look at an old Fender tube guitar amplifier that had stopped working several months ago.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got a text the next day that both were ready for pickup.
The radio needed some parts and removal of dust buildup and was returned in excellent working order.
The amplifier only needed a new vacuum power tube and Dimitri explained that I could just order a new tube and showed me how to replace the burned out one when it arrives from my online search and order.
I would not hesitate to contact OSA72 for any further repairs on any and all electrical devices that need it.
Another positive note was the timeliness of their response to both calls and texts. Always answered by a human being! (Not always the case these days)

I have used the services of OlsSchoolAudio on two different occasions with three different pieces. 2 Receivers and a reel to reel tape deck. I had in the past used another local place for restoring my vintage gear. Generally I thought they did a good job which actually may not have been the case. They shall remain nameless as I am not writing this to detract or disparage them in any way. I mention this simply as contrast to the services I received. So I wanted to complete the restoration of a Marantz I have had for a few years now but never got around to it. I could not use the first place because they do not align the FM section nor do they perform any cosmetic work. I was fortunate to bascially stumble across Oldschool. After looking into them for a while I decided to give them a try.
After they did the work I was given back what looks and sounds like a new unit. I believe this is as close as you are going to get to a brand new unit. IMHO the most important thing you need from an audio unit is quiet. Sure it need to sound good and work well but it should have not internal noise. The FM section plays incredibly well with literally no static or hiss. Same for the phono section. Absolute dead quiet. No hum, no hiss and beautiful sound reproduction. The Tape deck was just as stunning, Maybe more so.
The results were so good I asked them to look at my SX-1280. They found conditions that were not addressed before and also gave it a cosmetic makeover. The unit was in very good cosmetic condition but they brought it as close to a new looking unit as its ever going to be. The sound is impressive and it now looks the part. I would recommend OldSchool to anyone that is looking for repair and restoration of vintage equipment without hesitation. You only need to spend a few minutes with Dimtrios and you will know your stuff is in good hands. Just a great guy who seems to love what he does and is incredibly knowledgable. It was a pleasure interacting with him.

Had an amazing experience with OSA72. They did a fantastic job restoring my marantz 2500, bringing it back to life better than ever. The attention to detail was outstanding.
I also made a purchase of a marantz 2325, the product was in perfect condition and exactly as described. Dimitri was both knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend them for both repairs and purchases — truly top-notch service from start to finish!

Dimitrios and Old School Audio did an absolutely amazing restoring of my vintage Marantz 6300 Turntable. I can’t recommend Dimitrios and His Crew enough. They do amazing work at very fair price and completed the project sooner than expected. A++++++++ 👍👍👍
