Our Children First

My 17 year old daughter was given the opportunity to participate in their summer program as a volunteer where she interacted with the children by the guidance of the Therapists. This program allowed her to interact with the staff and children so that she can get a look into this profession. I recommend this summer program to any youth that is interested in this field to apply. It gave my daughter life skills and a chance to fully understand what she wants for her future. The Staff helped her get acclimated to the center’s environment. I greatly appreciate them for it.

Before my son started going here, he couldn’t sit for longer than 30 seconds. Now he can sit and complete simple tasks like drawing, naming, and even eating at the table. The progress he’s made here has truly prepared him for his next step.I was nervous about putting my son in a center-based program, but the staff made me feel so welcomed and reassured that he was always in good hands. I also loved how they kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and notes on their app; it gave me so much peace of mind.This program has been such a blessing to our family. The staff truly care about the kids and put so much love and effort into helping them grow. I couldn’t be more thankful.I highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a supportive and caring place for their child.

My daughter attended this school for a little less than a year. In this short period of time she was given great attention and learned many things. The staff here are so caring, attentive, and take the time to respond to any concerns you may have. I was so nervous to send my child anywhere for the first time, but after seeing how happy she would come home, I knew she was in good hands. I will be forever grateful for what they’ve done for her. I would recommend this school one million times!

I recently visited Our Children First and had the privilege of attending one of their graduation ceremonies. It was a truly wonderful experience. The program was thoughtful and beautifully put together, the decorations were lovely, and the staff was exceptionally kind. The attention to detail, the genuine focus on each child, and the way every achievement was celebrated made the day so special, exactly what any parent would hope for during such an emotional milestone. The facilities were also impeccably clean and welcoming. Overall, it was an outstanding experience with an amazing team.

My son absolutely loved attending Our Children First. Prior to speaking to Carla and enrolling my son, I spoke to so many schools and did a number of visits and I just didn’t feel comfortable with my son being in their care. When I met Carla, I knew that my son would be surrounded by amazing staff and would feel right at home. The staff at Our Children First really care and love each and every child that enters those doors. All children receive 1:1 care which is something my son really needed. They’ve helped my son improve so much! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful resource here the Bronx. If you are looking for a place for your child, look no further! This is where you want your child to be.
