Overton Funeral Home was amazing in helping me and my sister plan for services after our mother died. Navigating the death of a loved one can be difficult, saddening, and strenuous process. I called several places in advance but of all the funeral directors who called me back , Eric was the nicest and most helpful of them all. He was thorough in the information he provided me and sympathetic whenever we spoke of my mother, her life, and her unfortunate passing. Communication during the process was constant which I appreciated. He even went the extra mile to assist with a jewelry mishap from an outside seller. The cost was affordable as well and I appreciated the fact he did not try to upsell me anything I had already said no to unlike some other funeral homes had. My sister and I really appreciate the kindness we were shown and I highly recommend Overton’s services.

I’d like to thank the amazing staff at Overton for the compassion, kindness and support they offered to myself and my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. The experience we had here went above and beyond. Thank you to Mike, Sean and Eric for being so kind and genuine, you made a horrific loss a little easier. The memorial we had for my husband was absolutely beautiful ❤️

Let me start by personally thanking Overton Funeral Home for all their empathy & kindness towards my family during our difficult time. They took such excellent care of my deceased mother. Not only at her services but yesterday I received a package from them. I couldn’t bring myself to open it. However, it’s Thanksgiving Day (one of her absolute favorite holidays) so I decided to finally open it. They wrapped it and taped it SOOO well that it took some doing to finally reach what was inside. This beautiful velvet box, inside took my breath away. It was a gorgeous urn with my mom’s ashes.
