To be honest, if you want to see planes flying overhead, you need to know in advance which runway they will land from. If they don't land from this runway in the park, you won't be able to see the planes overhead.
It's a fun spot for a nice photo 📸 or brief video of airplane landings especially at sunset. However,theres tons of rats passing by at night so if you are scared of those pests don't come here even though they mostly stay away.
Great place for a short rest, before heading back out into the home bound traffic. Perfect for a break from Laguardia Airport traffic, while picking up or dropping off passengers for arrivals departures.
This is a great park to visit if you're a plane spotter and photographer. If you come in the mid to late morning and it's a nice clear day you'll get some beautiful photos.
It's a pretty decent park. Good views of La Guardia airport. Went in the night not a lot to see except lot of airport lights. Very windy and it is clean and well maintained. Will certainly go back in the day time . It's not too big and they are a few benches to sit on.
