I used Port Jefferson Marine Maintenance to haul my classic wooden boat out for the winter and store it in my back yard. Wooden boats are a bit of a specialty, and when Eric followed up with tons of questions about the boat's structural integrity, I knew I'd found someone who knew what he was doing. He arranged the haul out for me and everything went off without a hitch. Very glad I used him. I was not surprised, though, since he seems to have a good reputation in the area.

Simply exceptional. From my first telephone inquiry last fall, to haul/clean/winterize/wrap/store through relaunching my boat two weeks ago, Eric, Ann and their staff were truly outstanding in every way. Not only technically expert/experienced (as in instant total faith) but friendly, patient and accommodating. Unlike so many businesses, owners Eric and Ann either do the work themselves or are steps away supervising their obviously very capable guys. My boat isn't anything special but Eric took care of it (handling/moisture protection, etc.) like it was far more valuable. I couldn't be happier with my experience at PJMM. Had an excellent experience with Eric and Josh. Knowledgeable, honest, and fair. Had an issue with shift cable (lost reverse) coming into Danford's late on Saturday afternoon. They showed up to the dock within an hour to diagnose and hauled me early Sunday morning to repair it on the spot. Not many mechanics out there that will provide that kind of service, especially for a transient boater. Highly recommended!!
