Beautiful park with a great campground and cabins. Most sites have water access and all have electric. Nice bathrooms and a huge beach. We have camped here many times and are planning another trip.
Great place to visit in summer. Multiple restrooms are available. Changing facilities are great. You can even take shower after you are done in Atlantic so you don’t have to get into your car with all the sands. Definitely I’m going back again in next summer.

The beach, Robert Moses, is an awesome place to relax, unwind, collect some sun 🌞 see the sights, and get into that Ocean Beach water.
The sand is great. It isn't rocky or seaweed infested like a couple of other South Shore beaches.
R.M.S.P. is truly a little getaway for a few hours when time permits.
I don't often get the opportunity to take a few hours out, but when I am able, I want as much value for my time as I can get. After all time is the most precious commodity.
I'm looking forward to the next time that I go.
A hidden gem on Long Island — peaceful, clean, and beautiful!
We visited Robert Moses State Park on a Monday, and it was absolutely perfect. The beach was incredibly clean, the ocean was calm and relaxing, and best of all — there were very few people, which made the whole experience feel peaceful and almost private.
It’s a wonderful place if you’re looking to escape the city and enjoy nature without the crowds.
Right nearby, there’s a beautiful lighthouse you can walk to — and along the way, we found wild blackberries and other delicious berries growing in the sand dunes and bushes. It felt like a little adventure in the middle of summer.
Highly recommend this spot for a quiet weekday getaway. Bring a towel, a book, and maybe a container for berries!
I really loved this place! They’re doing an amazing job keeping the beach totally clean, noise free, and smoke free. The restrooms were clean and stocked, they have showers available, food and refreshments available. The sand is so clean and clear water! Definitely coming back.
