Schervier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

I am very grateful to Schevier. My father (an 87 year old Russian-speaking man) was transferred to the Schervier for rehabilitation ( PT &OT).
This is my father's second time in need of a rehab stay and I requested that he gets to be sent to Schervier Rehabilitation. The personnel - nurses and aides - are very warm and understanding, and truly treated him like their own grandpa. The physical therapists are absolutely top notch!! They got my father from barely able to walk 2 feet to exercising and walking without a walker.
The head of the PT department Kathleen Brussell, the social worker Mazal Ilyaich, the amazing Moishe the Concierge and Amber Laspina were always accessible to patients and family ready to advise and help, and work on the problem until it is solved.
It was a very trying time for me because of my father's condition, but I had peace of mind because I knew he was under Schervier care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Schervier!! My brother is currently there in rehab, along with many other medical issues, & his care has been fantastic!!
I live out of state & it’s so important that I have open & ongoing updates & conversations with the staff. They all keep me updated on everything that’s going on!! They have all been so very kind, caring & professional & my brother feels heard, cared for & important. He is so happy there!!

I feel awful not having the names of all of the wonderful staff but truly, they are all excellent!!

My mother recently received rehabilitation services at Schervier. She received excellent care during her three week stay. She was cared for by all the nursing staff, she received all her therapies while inpatient, and she was provided with transportation for her outside follow up appointments. Her room was always neat and cleaned. Her meals were warm and she enjoyed them in the dining room. I can’t say enough about this facility; the welcome staff, the coordinators, the therapists, housekeeping and nursing made my mother’s stay a true rehabilitation experience. I highly recommend Schervier Rehabilitation facility to anyone looking for a place for a loved one to receive care. A+++++++

This facility is great. My sister recently got surgery and the medical team at the hospital recommended rehabilitation. I was given a list by the Social Worker at the hospital and decided to tour a few places. This by far was the Best option. I toured all the facilities in Riverdale and this by far was the best experience.

The rooms are spacious and there’s a wall that divides roommates from each other.
They have their own TV and Phone where you can call patient directly. Unlimited Wifi and a 24/7 kitchen menu. They even have a starbucks in the lobby.

This facility offers free parking and transportion for families. Mr hey are super accommodating and always willing to help.
I appreciate everyone’s hard work and dedication.
