I recently started doing acupuncture and biofeedback with Diane and I can say it’s easily one of the best things i’ve ever done for both my physical and mental health. I could not recommend Diane enough.

Hitting 70 yrs old has not been fun, especially for someone who has always been active. Dr. Diane has helped to restore my mobility while reducing the inflammation and muscle soreness that I experience daily. She is a wealth of knowledge and a keen observer.and listener. Pain that had reduced my mobility and severely hindered my way of life is now on the run. I am grateful that I found her.

I have had constant pain in my shoulders for years. I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in addition to bone spurs and inflammation. After just 4acupuncture visits at Shen Balance I experienced much less pain and increased mobility in my shoulders. I am sleeping better and feel overall more energetic, as I am no longer fighting off daily pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Diane DiCarlo.

I do not usually do reviews but I cannot say enough about how wonderful Dr. Diane DiCarlo of Shen Balance is so I felt the need to share my experience.
She is compassionate and listens to you in order to get a feel for how she will navigate and design treatment to be most effective for you. She is also so knowledgeable in her field and each time I leave a session I truly feel so much at peace
I started at Sunrise Wellness in Sayville in the Fall with a gastro issue which eventually morphed into insomnia. Between my gut issue and a busy life in general along stress as my 92 yr old dad was dealing with cancer treatments and his eventual passing in late March, my day to day took a complete 360 turn.
I was recommended to Dr DiCarlo for acupuncture and Bio Feedback treatments to potentially belp. The best thing is she is located at Sunrise Wellness so it made sense.
I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. After the first 3 sessions, I started to feel a sense of calmness. I recently completed 3 more sessions and I am sleeping so much better and my day to day mindset is so much better as well!
If you are looking for this type of treatment I can say look no further! I recently booked three more treatments to continue to solidify the improvement I have made in such a short time 😊

My wife Lorraine has been treated by Diane now over a month for a back disc problem causing a pinched nerve. She went through a terrible bout of Sciatica last February and March and has had an recent MRI diagnosing the compressed disc problem.
Since starting treatment with Diane about five weeks ago, she has obtained noticeable relief and lessening of her front upper leg numbness which occurs mainly in the morning. The sessions are more like a relaxing interlude for her and she feels like she's 'floating on air' after each one.
We have developed a friendship with Diane which is more like a family relationship. Her kind, loving manner and extraordinary expertise, care and concern are well noted and very much appreciated due to the well-being and overall benefit her treatment imparts. Her knowledge and experience are vastly evident in her consultations, advice and acupuncture treatment and overall concern for Lorraine's condition. She noted to us that these treatments being done now weekly, do not need to be done indefinitely but can be done when the need arises to alleviate the symptoms caused by this back problem.
We whole-heartedly recommend anyone who had any kind of pain or discomfort plaguing them to visit with Diane and discuss the possible treatments she can do to help you. Her medical certifications and degrees are admirable and very re-assuring.
