I cannot say enough about this place. Whoever designed this place was a genius. This place will challenge you. One thing I wished was that there was more water 💧 stations along the trail for very hot days. Though the park staff place water coolers on the picnic tables along the trails, but if the water isn't cold it doesn't make a difference. Let's do better in this regard.

Second time visiting! This time on the hilly side with #BlackMenRun. Everyone finished the #ShirleyChisholm walk/run event!

Families enjoy the park’s free bike rentals available Thursday through Sunday, making it an ideal spot for outings with children. The trails are described as peaceful, with opportunities for wildlife spotting, including birds and rabbits .

Great park for walking, picnics, and relaxing. Great views of Jamaica Bay and you can see the planes entering and leaving JFK.

I always wanted to come and bike here but never made on time during weekdays since the parks closes after dusk.

Little did I know this a former NYC landfill. They covered it with new soil, and now the smell that people would feel when driving thru the belt pkway is gone, making it much better to look at.

It’s a clean space, with trash and recycle cans that help.

Definitely a place worth visit with your family on a sunny day.
