SPCA Westchester

Adopting our cat from SPCA in September 2024 was a truly beautiful experience. From the first moment, we felt the love and dedication the staff has for each animal. They were kind, patient, and made the entire process feel so special.

Our cat Vienna has filled our home with joy, and we are so grateful for the care and compassion she received before coming to us. This shelter doesn’t just help animals, they create families. We wholeheartedly recommend them.

If you are looking for your furever fur baby, look no further. The Westchester SPCA is a beautiful facility with a loving, caring staff. The animals are well loved and well taken care of. We adopted our puppy Snoop the end of October, and he is the love of our life! He’s already spade and microchipped, and is growing happy and healthy by leaps and bounds! I would 1000% adopt from here again, and recommend it to everyone we meet looking to adopt!

We adopted cavatappi yesterday (new name is Moose). Felt like we had a really positive experience and wanted to write a review about it. We had a wonderful experience doing meet + greet/walk through with an employee named John I believe on 09/06. He did a great job of educating us on puppy life, asking about our history with puppies and did his best to find us a perfect match based on our conversation. We were ultimately let to Moose and ended up adopting him one day later on 09/07 after his obligations at puppy yoga. Thank you to everyone at SPCAW for all your help, knowledge and training help. Moose is settling in very well and we’re all very happy.

SPCA Westchester is an incredible facility that does amazing work for animals. My boyfriend and I went to adopt a cat, and the staff there were so accommodating and helpful to us! I was nervous and we went twice to meet the cats & kittens before we made a decision - and I never felt rushed or pressured once. They were kind and knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we had. We ended up with the most AMAZING cat, Stevie (her shelter name was Truffle) and it felt like we got a parade on the way out with her! They sent us home with such thoughtful goodies and we know we can reach out to them if we ever have questions or need advice. Their animals are truly loved and if we ever decide to adopt another pet we will definitely be finding them at SPCA Westchester!

Just a beautiful facility. Everyone was so kind from the time I entered the building. The adoption process was so smooth. I love the memorial walk and training facilities. It was so convenient to have Cody’s Clinic next door. I adopted a year old golden doodle mix who I named Maggie. She’s a sweetheart.
