Dr Crespo said he would call the day after he did surgery on my dog but never did. The day after and the following day I made 3 calls because of a concern that the nurses warned me about and the weekend was coming up. If you want a veterinarian to call you back if you have a concern about your dog after he’s done surgery on your dog find a different Vet. When their office finally called me 4 days later I told the receptionist I was very disappointed that I didn’t get a call back. She put the vet on the phone and with an attitude he said, “well I have things happening in my life too!” That certainly not an appropriate response when I wasn’t unkind or disrespectful in anyway other than saying I was disappointed. I told him my concern and He went on to say he had an emergency with his daughters and said, “if I have to choose between my daughters and your dog then…”. What??? Oh my gosh. Of course he would choose his daughters but is that appropriate to say? He made it clear he knew I was trying to reach him. In my opinion knowing that HE did surgery on my dog he should have asked his one of his employees to call me back and take care of whatever my concern was. He wasn’t concerned or showed any care whatsoever. He said they sent me home with a sheet of paper with aftercare instructions. I brought the paper with me to my follow up visit and showed them that the instructions did not have information on it about my concern and I recommended that they add it to their paperwork for future patients. They didn’t know what to say. I must say that all his staff were very very nice. He lacks bedside manner. Very disappointing as my first meeting was pleasant because he smiled a lot. This is my third dog and she is the only one to have a bumpy scar after being spayed. She also has another stitch sticking out. I’ll be going to another Vet until I find one who cares about my dog or I’ll drive the long distance to my last Vet that was very good.

Dr. C and the crew did a fine job our dog "Junebug" She ripped out a entire rear paw claw, blood everywhere, we still to this day don't know how she did it. We are leaning towards roots in the backyard that protrude above ground in certain areas. Rushed her there never used them before and Doc brought her in within seconds and took care of the injury. Fast forward to now and there were benign tumors & cysts around her belly and inner rear legs that were inflaming then would shrink again. Mind you she was never fixed either, she was an older rescue now nearing 11 years old. He did the procedure including spay, mammary gland removal & all lumps and cysts. Had her back before end of day which was amazing in itself. So far so good. They DO care about your pets. He's not the cheapest guy on the block but you get what you pay for. And for those who posted reviews that he's non caring non plussed, your full of bologna.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to find a different Vet. After my dogs surgery my Vet said he would call the next day to see how my dog was and I was told to call if my dog wasn’t eating in 24 hours which I did several times from Friday til Monday. Monday when the receptionist called me I told her I was very disappointed that the vet didn’t call as he said he would the day after surgery and how I left multiple messages because I was concerned about my dog not eating being she is only 3 pounds.. When she put the vet on the phone I said the same. I was not rude or unkind in how I said it. He said with an attitude , “well I have things going on in my life too!” He wasn’t apologetic, he had an attitude. He said he knew I called “no one was ignoring you, I had an emergency at home with my daughters and that if I have to choose between your dog or my daughters then”. Now I totally understand that people have emergencies but being he knew that I called and my dog is his patient shouldn’t he have asked one of his staff to take his calls or call a patient back? He was not the least bit concerned for my dog which is what I hire a vet to be. I don’t need a vet for shots twice a year as much as I need a vet for when things happen. After all he did the surgery. This is my 3rd dog ( the others not under his care)
and this is the only dog left with bumps on her surgical site and a stitch is still left sticking out. I’m leaving this review because if anyone values contact with their Vet for their pets sake, you may need to take this into consideration. This vet is the only one at this practice and if he’s “preoccupied “ you won’t get a call back. It’s just not as important to him.

We switched our vet care to Dr. Crespo in 2023 when our dog was having issues with her knee. He was able to diagnose her issue right away and treat it without surgery. We are so grateful. We have since added a second dog to our family and both are treated very well by Dr. Crespo and his staff.

Dr Crespo is the most knowledgeable, caring veterinarian. I am so glad we found him. My 9 year old Shepard had been having some gastro issues since April of 2023. After numerous trips to our old vet for exams, multiple rounds of blood work, an X-ray and an ultrasound we had no answers or treatments and our boy was getting worse and depressed That’s when my friend told me about Dr Crespo. On our first visit after reviewing all the results from the prior vet and Dr Crespo doing his own exam we had our answer. We were sent home with a prescription and new prescription diet and our boy had been so happy and not struggling anymore. I can’t thank Dr Crespo enough and will be referring everyone I know to him. My Pup Niko thanks him too!!!
