3.5 TO BE EXACT - I can't give a 4 or a 5 because this has impacted my day to day and how I take care of my hair which was once my favorite thing about me.

Went in for a traditional wash and set. I was aware of a lot of new growth as I'd just taken out a braided style. So I was prepared for a lot of flyaways and a possible cut. I DID NOT HAVE A CUT THIS DAY. I have been going to this salon for years and Sujeidy always hooks my hair up. This was after her rebrand and the salon is beautiful I even commented how nice it was. Business was thriving and I'd had to leave like twice before because it was too crowd. Maybe that was an omen in hindsight.

That's why I can't blame this on anything but the untrained assistants. Sujiedy exclusively did my hair, sometimes Wendy but less than a handful of times, I've never had an issue. Like I've followed them from different salons it's been a long time. But this was different. No Wendy four new women and it had looked like she was training them I wish I would have walked away when one of the new people began blow drying my hair. I'm not a complainer I'm a trust the process they know what they're don't kind of person. BUT THEY DIDN'T. I take culpability in the fact that I should have said something even she kept going over the top of my hair with the blow dryer over and over trying to get it to lay flat. In my head they're the experts they know what they're doing. NO I DON'T THINK SHE DID.

I haven't been to the salon since the incident. I can only hope based on the ratings things have gotten better with them. But after this incident my hair was so fried I literally can't do anything with it. I've contemplated cutting it off and it's just so sad because I've worked so hard on my hair and this one experience just took it away. It took me a full year before I could go to a new salon who ended up cutting a good six inches of my damaged hair from all the heat it had gone so thin. I noticed this that day and was too afraid to do anything to my hair because I didn't want it to thin more. I wouldn't let my braider even help. I was upset and everything but after the cut it did look healthier I think she should have cut a few more inches but she was probably thinking of me that she didn't.

Over a year later my scalp is still damaged, my hair texture is completely changed and I'm extremely skeptical about trusting salons. I can't get my hair to hold moisture in water. I'm not kidding washing my hair is such a challenge and there's no recourse out there that doesn't cost an arm and leg. I don't trust products I'm scared to have it braided. But I've gone to a salon twice since.

This was only a cautionary tale I started with a mixed textured curly wavy patterned hair, it did seem like they were still learning. Like there were warnings I didn't heed but I believe Sujeidy does an amazing job and had done an amazing job it was just that day. I unfortunately can't trust the place anymore even as I left I could tell the welcoming vibe had changed because they knew I wasn't happy with my hair.

I just wanted to share my story. After sitting on it for a little over a year. I will say that I am accepting of this new texture it's frustrating sometimes and my scalp is easily irritated. But for some reason my hair is thicker and I'm going to be seeing a curly hair tech to see if the damage is damage or is workable for a curly hair journey and I'm just using the wrong products. Basically I'm trying to see the benefits and not just the destruction and perhaps that was just a bad day and they've come along.

Wishing success and all the good things. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

I simply love this place. I can't even express how fascinated I am with Sujeidy's work. I used to live in Medford and came across her beauty salon 5 years ago. My first time doing Keratin, was the best thanks to her. I tried other places but there is no comparison. Now I live elsewhere and I prefer to travel over an hour for the quality of work she provides.

Posted some before and after pictures. What I love the most is that my hair is so smooth and shiny for long time. I recommend 100% 👌

Very happy with my first visit to the salon. The staff was very friendly, my hair is natural 4c I came for a hair color, wash, and blow-dry. I ended up getting my nails done too. The service was exceptional and the price was fair ( I brought the hair color that I want it and my hair products but they have a great hair products as well) . Sujeidy the owner it is so sweet and kind she prepared coffee for me too 10/10, highly recommend it .

I came here for the first time today and I must say I’m kinda impressed. I have a lot of hair and typically only go somewhere if I’m referred but this was a pleasant surprise. The salon is clean and the stylists all have good energy. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with even if you don’t know Spanish. I did a deep condition, roller set, blowout and flat iron. They also offer nails so I got a pedicure too.

I don’t live near here but I’ll certainly be back again.

TIP: bring your own hair/nail tools if you’re like me and prefer not to share. Be prepared to spend a few hours. They will take their time and you’ll never feel rushed.
