We love Temple Israel! My oldest daughter had a wonderful experience there, and now my son attends five days a week. The staff are warm and caring, and have created a real sense of community. My son loves the exercise program and the cooking classes, as well as the music and library programs. He is developing academically as well as socially. I would highly recommend Temple Israel's Nursery School program!

We have had a wonderful experience at Temple Israel Nursery School. Our older son went through the program and is now a thriving, well-adjusted 1st grader. Our younger son is at TINS now and always looks forward to school days. He is flourishing there with his loving teachers.

Here's why our family loves TINS:

Staff: it is run by very experienced teachers with graduate degrees who have been at TINS for years.

Location: it is situated in the woods, but just a minute or two up the hill from the upper village, with tons of fresh air and a brand new playground.

Space: the classrooms are spacious and light-filled; they have a huge indoor room (previously a gym) for riding bikes and playing on rainy and chilly days.

Curriculum: the program is a child-centered balance of academics, play, and exploration of the world; they have enrichment activities like baking, music, reading, and animals.

Friends: the community of families we have met through the school is supportive, fun, and inclusive.

    Hours: the scheduling is flexible, with a half-day or a 9:00-2:30 extended-day option 5 days/week

    Highly recommended!
