The Marker

This place is truly a year-round gem. I visit often in the summer for the beautiful outdoor seating, fantastic food, and the incredible view overlooking the sound—but our recent early holiday get-together reminded me just how special it is in the winter, too.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holiday season, creating a warm and festive atmosphere the moment we walked in. They offered a great winter-themed dinner and drink specials list that perfectly highlighted the holiday spirit. We were seated indoors and still had a stunning view of the sound—timed perfectly with a gorgeous sunset during dinner.

Even though the restaurant was nearly full, the acoustics were excellent. We were able to enjoy easy conversation without ever needing to raise our voices.

Overall, this is a spot I’d highly recommend, especially during the holidays. Whether you’re visiting for the seasonal ambiance, the views, or the consistently delicious food, it’s absolutely worth stopping in.

First time at Marker in Glen Cove. Went for Brunch and it was delicious. The view was beautiful. And service was very good. We will definitely be back. I have already told friends and family to try Marker

Exquisitely prepared dishes prepared & curated by Chef Kent & Eric; everything we have tried has always been excellent.
The entire restaurant has been remodeled which compliments the views of LI sound nicely and everything from the beautiful bar to the outdoor dining area on the deck is very comfortable.

Plenty of space for private parties and the outdoor space & bar are very relaxed if you're looking for something nice, yet casual.

The Marker is a hidden gem in Glen Cove! Located next to a golf course with stunning ocean views, the ambiance is elegant yet relaxing, ideal for a special dinner. I enjoyed a vibrant salad with fresh greens, roasted beets, pumpkin seeds, and cherry tomatoes—visually appealing and delicious. The veggie burger was a standout, with a hearty patty, melted cheese, avocado, and lettuce, paired perfectly with crispy sweet potato fries that didn’t feel heavy. The creamy clam soup, topped with croutons, was rich and savory, a perfect seafood delight. The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend for the food and seaside views!

The Marker checked all the right boxes. From the delicious food, awesome view and atmosphere to the amazing service provided at the bar by Dalia and Anna. Dalia’s recommendations and that excellent watermelon lemonade cocktail she made really made for an excellent dining experience. Thank you the entire staff.
