The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. They have a cute little shop with jewelry and clothing. The beef momos are always delicious along with the three sauces they provide. I want to try other things on the menu next time I go! I will definitely keep going back.☺️☺️
These folks are warm and welcoming, happy to share their culture, and serve delicious food at reasonable prices. They were happy to share with my 6yo son about Tibet. Lots of gems, singing bowls, instruments and figurines in a in-restaurant shop with a relaxing couch to keep a 6yo interested. My kid loved the whole experience. Cannot recommend enough and will be back despite the drive.
Ordered way too much to try it all, and OH MY GOSH it was delicious. Everything. The dumplings, the soup, the fried rice. Every single thing we ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to come back over and over again. Not to mention all the fun things you can buy.
So excited to have this in Walden. New favorite spot for sure.
We stopped at Tibet Corner randomly for lunch while driving in the area. It was so utterly charming, the food was sooo good, and the owners were so wonderful that I haven’t forgotten and I’m writing this review 3 weeks later when I finally have a bit of time.
Living in NYC, we get to eat at all kinds of great restaurants. Never expected to find a restaurant that far surpasses most places in NYC - in upstate NY. Everything we ate was excellent - and we ordered a bunch of dishes (forgot to take photos of everything). The chicken Shapta tingmo was the best. I’m still dreaming of it weeks later. The Puri was different and really good. It went well with Daal. The ginger tea was perfect - milky black tea with just the right amount of sweetness, infused with fresh ginger.
The restaurant space itself was bright, airy, and calm. I loved the prayer flags outside, and the cute store area in one side of the space that had Tibetan things like prayer bowls, etc.
The owners were absolutely lovely as well. It was a total delight stopping at Tibet Corner. I just wish it was close by and I could eat there regularly. I want to go visit the area just to eat at Tibet Corner.
We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing we had several things and they were all so good. Our favorite was the Sha Baley it was delicious!! The staff were very kind and friendly just a great place all the way around. Highly highly recommend!
