Merry Land Chinese & Sushi - Long Beach

This food was absolutely delicious and extremely fresh! They even offer extra spices. Highly recommend Merry Land Chinese and Sushi - we will definitely be a repeat customer.

We got the pork dumplings, scallion pancakes, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, beef with brocolli, and pork fried rice. The dumplings and lo mein were pretty good. The scallion pancakes were very oily and not crispy and pretty bad. The beef with brocolli and sesame chicken were both just average and a bit bland.

I made an order at this place, first great food but the delivery guy was just rude. I didn’t give him a tip due to the fact that I found out the amount they told me on the phone wasn’t the same amount when the guy arrived with my order. so I didn’t have enough for a tip then he asked me “your not going to tip” “ I was shocked and I said no sorry” he continued “ridiculous, they don’t even pay me to deliver “ he just went on and on. My husband and I were stung on his abusive comments. Mind you the food came up to $68 for my family. When I can give a tip I would but I don’t think I would order delivery again if I have to hear a man complain to my face about a tip. It’s not obligation to give a tip.

Delicious Asian (American style) take-out. We needed a break from Italian and bar fare so tried Merry Land and wasn’t disappointed! Even at 10pm the food was cooked fresh to order and the staff very friendly. We ordered cold sesame noodles, butterfly bacon shrimp and crispy orange beef. Since our bill was over $42 we had a nice surprise of a complimentary choice of crab rangoon, dumplings or pork fried rice. Went with dumplings and my gosh, what a serving, 7 plump and juicy dumplings. All in all a tasty last vacation meal with leftovers for plane ride home!
