My husband and I went for dinner and it was great! The restaurant was so cute all decorated for Christmas. Our waitress was very attentive even though they were very busy. We got chicken parm and chicken Marsala. Both were very good. The owner came over to talk to us and was so sweet!!! After dinner we went to the pastry counter and got a couple of pastries. They were also amazing. We have always heard how good the restaurant was but living in Wappingers it never comes to the top of our mind. We will definitely be back.

Tiramisu in Hopewell Junction, New York is honestly one of the best Italian restaurants and bakeries I’ve ever been to. If I could give it ten stars, I would. The place feels magical, especially with all the Christmas decorations, and you can feel the holiday spirit the moment you walk in. When we arrived on a busy Friday night without a reservation, the receptionist was so kind and welcoming. We told her we drove two hours just to come here and were happy to sit anywhere, and even without a reservation she gave us a great seat and made us feel comfortable and at home. Our waitress was amazing and took the time to explain the specials, and we trusted her suggestions, which turned out to be perfect. We ordered the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and the chicken scarpariello, and both meals came with a salad, and I selected their homemade balsamic vinegar, which was incredible. The “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is the stuffed rigatoni, and it was cheesy, rich, and so comforting, especially with the creamy sauce, and it made me feel happy and full. The chicken scarpariello had a nice kick and was full of flavor, perfect if you enjoy a little spice. Of course, we couldn’t leave without dessert, so we tried the tiramisu and the exotic bomba, and both were outstanding. The tiramisu was perfectly made, and you could taste every layer of espresso and flavor, while the bomba was light and refreshing, the perfect sweet bite to cleanse the palate. Beyond the food and the beautiful atmosphere, what really stood out were the people. Everyone there, even other guests, was friendly and welcoming. The owner was especially kind and came over to talk with us, asked where we were from, and even gave us a small care package from the bakery after hearing we drove two hours to visit. That gesture meant so much to us. I would gladly make the long trip again because the staff, the owner, and everyone there truly feel like family. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality, and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had an outstanding birthday dinner here. You might pass by because it’s located in a smaller strip mall but DON’T. Tiramisu is cozy, warm & inviting. I cannot say enough good things about the food. The best mozzarella sticks I have ever tasted! My chicken scarp was fantastic too. We were too full for dessert & brought pastries home. Those too were absolutely delicious. The staff is so nice. The owner (or manager) constantly circulated among the guests & added to the charm of the place. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were looking for a nearby restaurant to have lunch while in Hopewell on some business and we Googled to find Tiramisu Restaurant-Pizzeria-Bakery.

    We hit the jackpot!

This was on a Monday at around 1 pm and there was just one other diner but plenty of people in and out visiting the adjoining bakery.

Vinny was our waiter and to his credit, he was outstanding in constantly asking what we preferred, from our order to our seasonings!

Ambiance here is quite nice with a traditional Italian feel and Frank Sinatra on the speakers the entire time we were there.

As an appetizer we ordered the Portobello Mushrooms with peppers topped with mozzarella! Even though it didn’t look very appealing, the taste more than made of for it as my wife and I did not have to look at it for too long as we dipped our bread in the leftovers on the plate.

Our entrees, which come with a choice of a side salad as a dinner option or just the entree for lunch (depending on the time) were delicious. We chose the entree for lunch as it seemed much more economical.

We ordered the veal parmigiana and the raviolis with meat/cheese.

Sauce was very well made with an excellent taste and not too acidic. Dippable with the excellent bread they bring to the table (we had 2 helpings). Bread was soft but crisp and tasty!

The raviolis were so soft and had excellent flavor!

My wife’s veal was absolutely cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth as did her pasta that was included in the dish. Perfectly textured and not overcooked.

I ended up wanting to thank the cook personally (which I actually did) since growing up in an Italian household I know what good Italian food tastes like and they got it right!

Our bill for lunch was a little over $50. In my opinion, more than affordable for 2 people given what that got us!

Before leaving, we decided to try some of the authentic Italian pastries from their onsite bakery and we were not disappointed! Their Tiramisu was excellent and the other cookies and cakes were baked with genuine knowledge of how to please the person eating them!

This experience took me back to my childhood of excellent but affordable Italian food and pastries just as they were when I was a kid.

The restaurant is not new and has been around for a long time. I think my experience says a lot about why! The quality in every facet has not diminished over time and one of the biggest reasons it’s still there and I hope it is for another 40 years!

Our experience was excellent and the food was delicious!

Great place to fill the belly without emptying your wallet while enjoying a fine dining experience with baked goods to go!
