Villa Picante Tacos Y Más

i LOVED this place. the restaurant is small but enough seating and very cute. the woman there was so so sweet. we celebrated my brothers birthday and she sent us home with free dessert. SO sweet. service was great and fast and the food was OUTSTANDING. i got the birria tacos and they did not disappoint. the guacamole was so fresh i couldn't stop eating it. i definitely recommend this place. the prices are good, the service was fast. a great spot to grab a quick lunch or really any meal. will be back!

This is my favorite Mexican Taqueria in the region- if there is one meal I always want and crave it is their Birria De Res Tacos- it is so good— stewed beef with tortillas crisped with Chili Oil- once you start eating it nothing else exists! Villa Picante stands with the respected taquerias in San Diego- our family did a taco crawl there last summer —when we returned it was a reminder this place holds in the ranks with the best tacos! We are so lucky to have this place in our community- make sure you try their food- everything I have tried is delicious!

Excellent atmosphere. Feels like a true Mexican restaurant. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Ordered flautas, chips and guac. Stuffed jalapenos. Everything was great. Fresh. Even the chips were still hot.
Best Mexican food I've had in Dutchess county.

In a hidden plaza on Rte 9 in Wappingers across from Adams. The place was empty but the woman was very welcoming. I think she owns with her significant other who was also there. The place is immaculately clean. The prices are great. The food was fresh. Not only by taste; but the wait. She packs everything up nicely and presented it as a small package/gift. Gives you plenty of sauces. They have a drink cooler and a tv playing music videos while you wait. I’m assuming they are originally from the city. Hope this Mom & Pop restaurant does well, since there are so many other Mexican eateries in the area plus there tough location. Overall, if you want clean environment and fresh food. Go!
