To The ENTIRE WATER’S EDGE TEAM,
    FIVE STAR REVIEW
I can’t say enough good things about Water’s Edge! From the moment I arrived, the staff showed genuine care, professionalism, and compassion. The nurses, aides, and therapists went above and beyond to make sure every need was met and every day I felt comfortable and engaging. The physical and occupational therapy teams were outstanding they helped me make real progress and regain strength, and we felt supported every step of the way.
The personal touches from remembering names to consistently offering encouragement — truly made this place feel like a caring community rather than just a facility. They took time to listen, respond to questions, and keep me informed, which made a huge difference in my peace of mind and keeping focused on my goal.
I am extremely grateful for the kindness and dedication shown by every member of the team. I would highly recommend Water’s Edge to anyone seeking thoughtful, attentive rehabilitation and nursing care.
A very special shout-out to Colin Malone, the Director of Concierge. This man Colin Malone is wear the 5 Star Review came from. You should clone him at least 10 times.  — he goes far beyond what you’d expect in that role. Colin’s leadership, kindness, and attention to detail elevate the experience for residents and families alike. He anticipates needs before they’re even expressed, brings a personalized touch to service, and he consistently checks in to ensure comfort and satisfaction. He truly embodies the heart of excellent patient experience and has many titles beyond “Director of Concierge” he should have 10 TITLES associated with his name  — including advocate, listener, and morale-booster! Numerous residents and families note how his prompt, pleasant, and positive presence makes everyday life brighter here and makes you on a daily basis see the light at the end.  Amazing.
Every day at Water’s Edge feels more like being part of a caring community than just a facility — from the thoughtful amenities to the individualized (Colin Malone) support each person receives. If you’re looking for attentive care, genuine compassion, and a team that treats you one like family, Water’s Edge is the place to choose!
I also want to recognize the many staff members who made such a positive impact with me:

Symone Green (LPN) — for dependable and attentive medication management.
Lisa Aide Amazing Person Caring in every way.
Tom, Taylor and Erin (Therapists) — for personalized encouragement and expertise.

Mary Langenhahn and all Recreation Staff— for creative, fun programming that lifted spirits.  My Calendar that is sent out every month I highlight every activity I want to attend.
Denise (Transportation & Doctor Appointments) — for always going the extra mile with a cheerful attitude.
Danielle Dietary – Always checks on me for my everyday needs.
All My Doctor’s that see me often with updates.
Beyond individual names, the Directors starting at the top nurses, aides, therapists, concierge services (Colin Malone is the 5-Star Review) activity directors, and support personnel all delivered heartfelt, professional care that genuinely enriched my recovery experience. Their teamwork, patience, and personal touches transformed what could have been a clinical stay into a community full of encouragement and hope.
I highly recommend Water’s Edge wholeheartedly to anyone seeking skilled nursing and rehab care with a compassionate and dedicated staff—you feel like family from day one.
Again, one more shout out to Mr. 5-Star Colin Malone!
    Sincerely yours
    Roy Radzinsky – Room # 123 w

Never give up! Theres always hope to improve. After living with a stroke for about 20 years, I was told I would never recover. When I came to Water's Edge, I was given the tools to hope through great physical and occupational therapy as well as amazing emotional support.

Mike and John in therapy have given me the tools and exercises to help me regain my independence!

Denise in transportation is always happy and eager to help me out with some great coffee. Recreation programs are always fun and interesting. Colin the Director of Concierge is always humorous and helpful!

Every staff member in the whole building is so positive and inspirational every day.

My time here at Waters Edge has been very productive. I enjoy physical therapy, especially with John, and occupational therapy with Alex. Both of them are excellent therapists.

Colin the director of concierge is fantastic and is always concerned about the residents needs in a prompt and pleasant manner. Jeryl Ann has been most responsive to my needs concerning care as well as finding placement in long term care, she has been helpful navigating the challenges with applying for Medicaid as well.

Lauren Belfiore and Theresa Hom, the Nursing Supervisors, have been very helpful and have helped my medical and emotional needs. Symone Green the LPN is excellent providing the correct medication and on time.

Orville the CNA is always responsive whether he is assigned to me or not. And Henderson the CNA is also super helpful

The receptionists downstairs are very friendly and Helpful which makes the experience at waters edge pleasant!

Hello, my name is Gary Carella. I arrived at Waters edge facility on Thursday,October.16th, 2025.. I must admit, I was very apprehensive about coming here at first. However, Waters edge came highly recommended to me from the university of Stony Brook Hospital. Which was an excellent endorsement. When I first arrived, I was met by Colin Malone, director of Concierge. Colin assured me that I was in the right place for rehab as well as wound care. Needless to say, Colin was right ! Not only did I receive great rehab thanks to therapists like Nicole, Paul, John Erin, and others but I also received excellent wound care from the nurses.. Water’s edge located in Port Jefferson Station New York is a very clean facility and their food is very good . I might add that all of the personnel here whether it be assistants or upper management personnel, they really know how to make you feel welcome.
In short, I would highly recommend Waters Edge to anyone who is looking for a facility for excellent care. I would not hesitate joining the waters edge, family.

    Sincerely, Gary Carella

My Mom (CA) was at Water's Edge for 3 months. Overall, the care was very good. There are several staff members that deserve recognition: Delores, Ladi, Michael, Dewon and Rosie. Nurse Meghan was exceptional and in addition, actually saved my Dad's life while he and I were visiting mom one Saturday afternoon. Social Worker, Okey was also outstanding, and his colleague Liz was also kind and competent. In addition a very special thank you to Audrey, the Business Manager who had endless patience with us and explained and assisted us every step of the way. The reception staff and Lee, the Concierge were also extremely helpful and kind. There are also countless other staff that were kind, thorough and polite, including dietary, housekeeping and facilities. Thank you! May God bless each and everyone of you. Jeanine A
