Probably the classiest joint on the Nautical Mile, but also just super fun. Had some time to kill waiting for a boat tour to come back, and happened to stumble in to the bar at Waterview. 1) coconut mojito is EVERYTHING! 2) really enjoyed the watermelon feta salad. 3) really great outdoor space overlooking the end of the marina, and 4) really great band (Generation Gap) to entertain the masses in a pretty large stage. I also happened to watch someone else order the Bavarian pretzel and DAYM was that a hearty looking pretzel 😱. Definitely my kind of place! P.s. my bartender was a doll!
I’ve known this place as Tropix and now Bay View. Great appealing atmosphere for a relaxing summer afternoon hand out. Security is super strict. Huge bar with lots of seats and tvs. Bathrooms are always clean. The food is why 3 stars were given. It is basically ‘fancy’ bar food. While it did definitely improve from tropix there still is room for flavorful food. Many of the entrees especially apps are bland perhaps adding more seasoning would help. The Moscow mules are excellent. I would recommend as a chill hang out spot on the mile and maybe order sushi which was the tastiest of all the apps we ordered.
Great place to visit it's an outdoor space right in the Nautical Mile. The chicken sandwich was delicious but the 🍟 were terrible. Security is on point. The music 🎵🎶 is very diverse. Go early every thing ends @ 2300 hrs or 11PM for civilians. Lots off flat screens to see the Yankees vs
Mets or sports. The staff is quite friendly. The crowd is mixed, but they do play ⏯️ music for everyone.. I did not see a dress 👗 code in effect on my visit.
Best Sushi!!!!! The Brandon roll was absolutely delicious! As well as the Calamari and the Coconut shrimp! Drink were good as well. Nice Saturday afternoon by the water.
Food is nothing spectacular, just your average menu. Tropix is really crowded and loud on the weekend nights. A few fights and one huge brawl in one night that spilled out into the streets happened here so just be very careful if this isn't your crowd. It feels just like jersey shore here, especially the patrons. Very visually attractive strip, however.
