I get Laguna clay from here as it is I believe the only one that carries it.I called over a month ago and they put it aside for me. Amazing in this day and age that someone would hold clay without even a deposit. The people are very knowledgeable and considerate .

Great experience, tons of pieces to choose from as well as supplies, a place to work and advice if needed. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have been to West Ceramics many of times. They NEVER disappoint. They have so many options to choose from. From all holidays to everyday items. You can paint them there or take them home with you. They have stuff fired and ready to paint and they have green wear! If you like to have a fun day painting or have kids that like to do crafts, then this is a place to have fun and paint!

    Avoid This Place

If I had to sum up my experience in one word, it would be "awful." I’ve never done pottery or ceramics before, and I thought it would be a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. The lady at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She was kind, helpful, and friendly to both me and my husband, who later came to pick up my items. Honestly, if she ever owns it, I might return—she’s a saint compared to the owner.

As for the owner, she made my entire experience unbearable. She hovered over me the entire time, pointing out every little thing I did wrong and criticizing my work. I had to pay extra for every single step of the process, and by the end, I’d spent $50 on services I could’ve easily bought pre-made on Etsy. I came for an experience, not to be nickel-and-dimed for each aspect which i had called prior about for price point before solidifying my decision to come.

But the worst part wasn’t even my experience—it was how she treated other customers. I watched her tear into a young man and his girlfriend, berating them for no reason, and she did the same to another customer who walked in. They both ended up asking for refunds, and it’s easy to see why. The entire place was filled with negative energy, and I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome the entire time.

If you enjoy being treated like you’re an inconvenience, getting charged for every little thing, and being harassed by an elderly woman in a wheelchair, then this is the spot for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Without the kind woman at the front, this place would be nothing but a sad, overpriced experience led by a rude, bitter owner.
